On 7 June, more than ten central and local mediums gathered at Zoomlion to exchange experiences and conduct interviews, including Hunan Branch Office of Xinhua News Agency, People’s Daily, CCTV (entrusting Hunan TV) and CNR. Zhan Chunxin, chairman of the Zoomlion board, Gaotong, deputy party secretary of Zoomlion and Luo Anping, vice president of Changsha Construction Mechanical Research Institute, received all the visitors warmly.

Arranged by Central Publicity Department, this interview was at the call of the central government and concentrated on the nation-wide coverage of theme of “Scientific Development, Shared Harmony”. Zoomlion was the first enterprise that accepted the interview. Chairman Zhan Chunxin held a friendly informal discussion with all the reporters at Zoomlion Sci-Tech Industrial Park and he made a careful introduction of Zoomlion’s history of undertaking and of its independent innovation including assisting the government with the technologies management in era of planned economy to “Industrialization of Sci-Tech Achievements” in market economy in addition to the 50- character management principle from many years’ exploration plus its corporate culture system. After this detailed introduction, the reporters all had a clear understanding of Zoomlion’s independent innovation.

Reporters from Xinhua News Agency and Hunan TV asked questions on “The Development of New Products in Enterprises” and “The Second Leap from ‘Industrialization of Sci-Tech Achievements’ to ‘Industrial High-Technicalization’ ” respectively, Chairman Zhan gave full explanations on them. After that, reporters visited Lugu Industrial Park and conducted an individual interview with Chairman Zhan Chunxin and Director Liu Quan respectively.
