 What is Zoomlion？
Changsha Zoomlion Heavy Industry Science & Technology Development
Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Zoomlion") was established
as a hi-tech public listed company on the basis of Changsha Construction
Machinery Research Institute under the Construction Ministry.Zoomlion is the only one applied research institute in mainland
China that combines both the construction machinery R & D and
the Industry’s technical quality assembly; it is also proudly holding
a record of technology covering over 75% in the Industry. Several
major institutes established under the government authority are
set here, including the National Architecture & Urban Construction
Quality Inspection and Testing Center, and the Ready-made Concrete
Machinery Engineering Technique Research Center. Besides,there are 13 secretary
offices of specialized committees under the National Construction-machinery
Industry Association are also located here.
When was Zoomlion established?
The company was established in 1992 and it was reformed in 1999 and it was
listed in the Chinese Stock Exchange in 2000.
How
large the company scale is?
Ther are total shares of 3,900 million RMB and the net asset is over 10000 million RMB.
Zoomlion has made profit up to 10 million RMB and it has reached 200 million
RMB of total profit in 2001.
What kind of team we are?
There is an expert decision-making team in Zoomlion and the most
important matter is that the top management personalites have technical background. Zoomlion currently has 1450 employees and among them,there are total of 40% of them are technical experts. Among them, there are young experts who were granded the honor of significant contribution by both the central goverment and local goverment . There are 17 experts in Zoomlion who have been enjoying special subsidiary provided by the State Council .

state, and industry level;
- Zoomlion has undertaken numbers of Important National Technical Research Projects
in the 8th and the 9th National Five-year Plans;
- Zoomlion has gained 159 patents;
- Zoomlion is the winner of the “National Reward on Technical-advance” and “National
Reward on Technical-innovation” and the “Gold Medal on National Technical
Market”.
Our
operation status
In 1999, Zoomlion was ranked the first in appraisal among all engineering
machinery enterprises due to its outstanding comprehensive economic
benefit index.
In 2001, Zoomlion was ranked the first place in the assessment
on all the listed national mechanical enterprises. It is also one
of the top ten listed companies in mainland China.
In 2002, Zoomlion was awarded the “Top Ten Influential Enterprises
in China” and it won the “National Labor day Prize”. Zoomlion
was authorized to set up a national-level post-doctoral working
station.
